Why hire a pro?

Christmas Light Guru handles the design, installation, maintenance, and takedown so you can enjoy the season without the hassle.
We also store your lights for you so they aren't taking up extra bin space in your garage. When next year comes around you can have us come back out and hang your lights again.

How much does it cost?

Pricing varies by home size and design complexity; we provide clear quotes upfront. Our smallest projects start around $700, and our average job costs $1,200.

When should I book?

Booking early, ideally before August 1st, usually gives you some discount options. Booking in September helps secure your spot before the holiday rush, however, we are able to book you anytime we have available slots if supplies are available.
We don't charge more the longer the lights are up, so the sooner you book the sooner and longer your lights will be up.

Do you provide lights?

Yes. We provide professional-grade LED Christmas lights as part of our installation package. This creates a cleaner, more consistent look than using mixed store-bought lights and makes maintenance easier during the season.
Every strand is custom cut so you won't have those dangling extra lights at the end of your roofline, it's custom fit to your house.

Is removal included?

Yes. Post-holiday takedown is included with our full-service Christmas light installation packages. After the season, we safely remove the lights and decorations so you do not have to climb ladders in cold or icy weather.

What about weather issues?

West Michigan weather can be unpredictable, so we monitor conditions closely. If weather makes installation unsafe, we may reschedule your installation for a safer time and keep you updated throughout the process.

Do you offer custom Christmas light designs?

Yes. Christmas Light Guru creates custom holiday lighting designs based on your home, roofline, trees, entryway, and style preferences. We can keep the look clean and classic with warm white lights or add more festive color depending on the design you want.

Do you install roofline Christmas lights?

Yes. Roofline Christmas light installation is one of our most popular services. We install lights along gutters, peaks, ridges, and other roofline areas to create a clean, professional holiday look.

Do you install lights on trees and landscaping?

Yes. We can install Christmas lights on trees, shrubs, columns, railings, wreaths, garland, and other outdoor features. Adding trees or entryway accents can make your holiday lighting design feel more complete.

Do you install commercial Christmas lights?

Yes. Christmas Light Guru can install holiday lights for businesses, storefronts, offices, restaurants, churches, and commercial properties. Commercial projects may include roofline lights, trees, wreaths, garland, entrances, and other custom holiday displays.

Do you offer Christmas light storage?

Yes. Storage is included. After takedown, we organize and store your lights so they are ready for the next holiday season.

Do you install customer-owned Christmas lights?

No, we recommend using our professional-grade LED Christmas lights because they create a cleaner look and are easier to maintain. If you already own lights, you can still reach out and we can let you know whether they are a good fit for your home.

How long does installation take?

Most residential Christmas light installations can be completed in one day, depending on the size of the home and the design. Larger homes, tree lighting, commercial projects, or more detailed displays may take longer.

Do you offer maintenance during the season?

Yes. In-season maintenance can be included with full-service Christmas light installation packages. If something needs attention during the season, contact us and we will help keep your display looking its best.

Can I choose warm white or colored lights?

Yes. We can design your display with warm white lights, colored lights, or a mix depending on the look you want. Many homeowners prefer warm white roofline lights for a clean, classic look, while colored accents can make the display feel more festive.

Why should I book early?

Booking early gives you better scheduling options and helps make sure your lights are installed before the holiday rush. Early booking also gives you more time to enjoy your display before Christmas and potential discounts if booked before August 1st for first time customers.

Can you install lights before Thanksgiving?

Yes. Many customers choose to have their Christmas lights installed before Thanksgiving so their home is ready for the full holiday season. Scheduling early also helps avoid delays caused by cold weather, snow, or limited late-season availability.
